Converting from fresh to salt and have a couple questions

I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank that I have been running for several years. And wondered if I can convert it into a FOWLR tank with minimal equipment changes? Mostly wanted to know if my current OTB filtration will be sufficient or do I need something better. I know i will need to get some powerheads and probably a skimmer but just wondered what major differences there are. Thanks in advance for any advice.
 
You might try contacting Fish2Morow. Their info is in the Sponsors section at the bottom of the forums, but their # is 817.847.9797. They are having a class on converting FW to SW next week I think.

I'm sure several people can help on the forums, but wanted to give you that option too.
