considering sea horses

i am considering having 1 or 2 seahorses, i would have them all alone by themselves in a tank. i DO NOT want to raise them. that said, should i have just one? i have a wrasse (rainbow?) that i know females can change there sex to male if i had a few of them). do seahorses also do this? i understand they are not the easiest to take care of and care for, so i am looking for the FACTS and care tips as well as the easiest species to care for so info on tank size, water quality, lighting, etc. would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

sea horses do not change sex
they do best in groups

I'll post some good reads later today as I found several good sites that specialize in them

ok thanks, i was worried about the sex changing thing as i know some fish can do it, also is there a way to determine what sex a seahorse is?

Reef central has a very active forum on seahorses and pipe fish. I just started a tank and I got most of my info just by looking through old posts on there.
