My chalice is turning a brownish color could it be the lighting ?too much or not enough?

How old is the setup and what are your parameters.

Some chalices are low light corals, while if your system is too ULN, you will get coral fading. If you are dosing Acropower or amino acids I've heard that chalice corals tend not to respond favorably to this as well. I hope this helps you.
