Yes it is I checked my salinity and it tested at 1.023 which is low for me by .002. I haven't checked the nitrates and everything yet but will today. I just switched to sump with cheato and calurpa with live rock and sand. I am running a cheapie free skimmer in the sump its a seaclone 100. For this thing being a freebie it pulls out about a cup of greenish black sludge about once a week. I have been disingenuous purple tech, two part, strontium and mob. Just added about five gallons of fresh salt water to tank for sump and I am about to do a five gallon water change in the next couple of days in effort to keep the water clean. I feel bad for my clown because he swims by it but its too small for him to get in so he swims on my welso and in my duncans.
