BTA Lighting Help

I'm replacing my mh bulbs tomorrow. I've got 14k's right now and am thinking of going to 20k's. Will the BTA get enough light intensity with the 20k's? I just like the 20k's because they're more blue, but I don't want this to be an issue for the BTA. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess everyone on here was as clueless about this as I was. Anyway I found out what I needed at RC. Anyone new to this hobby reading this post, should check out reef central if you have any questions about this hobby. There is a lot of good information there as well as a lot of really experienced reef keepers.

From what you've read on RC, do you still have the same concern? Or did it end up being nothing to worry about?

According to Dr. Ron, anemones can be kept alive in total darkness as long as they are well fed. Of course they would bleach out in darkness, but they would be healthy. They either have to get their nourishment from lighting, food, or a combination of each. I think the biggest thing is to keep adequate lighting and to feed them really good several times a week, so I don't think this will be an issue for me. Here's a link from rc with some good reading.
