D Demitrio555 Aug 12, 2010 #1 i got this urchin from the pet store a while back . he was doing fine . now all of a sudden his spines are getting white horizontall lines. now they look like a candy cane but with black and white? whats going wrong here?

H Heath Membership Expired Aug 12, 2010 #2 Its not uncommon for the juveniles of this species to have whtie stripes on the spines. Normally, when an urchin is sick or dying it will loose its spines.
