I dont know which one is the better of the two your asking about. My question would be which one would fit in your sump? which one has a pump that still works and doesnt add alot of extra heat to your tank? Im using a reef octopus extreme 160 and i have been really happy with it. I needed something with a small foot print and that skimmer fit the bill. How much are you willing to spend on a skimmer and how much room do you have for it?

I got an ev120 for my 60g because every one said they were good, well mine is not.
It is in a part of the sump where the water level doesn't change and it
barely skimmes for weeks and for the next two days it over flows. I hate it,

Don't know if you have made a decision yet, but I have ran both of these. I will agree with hydro, my Aqua-C was a pain, but I loved my ASM G3. I vote for the G3, and I think it will be more than adequate for your 110.
