Baby shrimp growing

I have read that Tetraselmis is the best food for cleaner shrimp babies. I might be wrong, but I remember reading that I think. I happen to have several bottles going right now if you are in need :D I do live in a good distance from DFW though.

How are they doing so far?

One thing that came to mind when I was re-reading this is, wouldn't the larger young eat the newly hatched ones? I was wondering if you have them separated some how?

Well unfortunately the shrimp were doing fine until I tried to help and keep them. They still managed to get out between the felt and the refugium wall. Found several on my sun corals the next morning (the black ones ...the little white spots were easy to see). Then the larger one got out, made it into the main tank but before I could get a net, it ended up going through the Koralia nano. So now there are none. They did much better when I didn't know they were there. :(

I am so sorry to hear that Deb, I was looking forward to seeing them mature.
Nonetheless, it was a real inspiration to see you get as far as you did.
Perhaps your next attempt will be more successful?
