AquaController Jr help.....

I just got an aquacontroller jr from a member and had a couple of questions about using it with a calcium reactor. the way the instructions are saying the controller controls the co2 based on the pH of the tank, but from what ive read the controller should go off the pH of the effluent. How should i do it? should i use a different ph monitor to control the effluent and use the contoller just to monitor the tanks pH?

That's what a lot of folks do- they use a milwaukee or pinpoint unit to turn on / off the solenoid based on reactor ph (keeping it low enough to dissolve the media) but they also have the AC Jr/II/III monitoring the tank ph, in case it gets out of whack, and can override the other controller.
