Anyone upgraded their JBJ from PC to HQI?

I've been thinking of getting a new hood for my JBJ 24gal nano, but haven't really found anyone else that has done so. The only thing I've found was someone who used some conversion kit, rather than an all new hood, and their horror story of how it didn't all fit and the light overhung the side of the tank.

Anyone do a full hood replacement?
 
IMO

I would remove the top hood put a few pc fans on the back of it (retrofit) and get like a sunpod or viper with legs or hang it.

My 12g nano with just the normal lights runs about 81 during these hot days with the house around 75-77

I could only imagine what it would run if it had halides.

some people crack their hoods ... i can't stand the look of that.
 
I got the HQI hood for my 24 and it did perk things up but really increased the heat. I purchased the Ice Probe and things are ok now but if I had to do this again I would by the sunpod and probably still the Ice Probe
