anemone issues help

Hi, my cousin got an anemone from someone and did not realize it had some blotches as if it was picked at, but the owner said there was nothing in the tank but clownfish. Is there something wrong with it, he took some pictures, the tentacles look fine and vibrant but hte base looks wrinkled up and there are white blotches on it

Looks as if to be repairing the damaged spots IMO. With good params it shouldn't take long to be normal looking again. Second pi looks like a healthy nem in the dark. GL

Agree ...

Also the first pic may be slight damage from substrate ... when they move, they can pic it up and get it embedded in their flesh.

+1
Just let it be...If the tentacles are coming out, it should heal with Good Parameters. Put it where you want it, try and get it's foot into a rock/between rocks. Just be aware that it may move around if it doesn't like the lighting or flow.
