This tank was set i up in 2001. I was asked to do one of these threads so I tought I would.
Was full Reef till 2005 sold all corals and such, then went FO till about a month ago. Will be doing mostly LPS and a few softies.

2 x 55w PC Antic 03
2 x 400w Iw. 6500K MH
Tank has 18 gal Sump and 18 gal Refugium
Return pump is a Mag 12
2 x Maji jet 1200's
300 lbs of live Rock
6" DSB

How do you like the iwasaki 6500 with pc actinic is it still pretty yellow?

The balance turns out not quiet but almost White, say about 8 - 9k color, I'm eyeing one of those LED kit's

alt=""> I would love to be able to balance my color better, the flexablity LEDs give are attractive.

when you get ready to replace them with new bulbs let me know i would like to try them out to check out the color with my tank.

New LED Lights have been on 10 days now a few new picks. Every thing seems to be adjusting well.

new updates, replaced 12 year old mag and replaced a very old power head and my Icecap fan quit working after 12 years so I replaced that as well its part of the hood ventilation.
Afew new shots I took at Christmas.

Everything has adjusted great with the new leds, growth has definatly picked up since the change. Also has adjusted fine with equipment changes.
