so i had an aiptasia pop up on one of my rocks, and i ignored it. this was maybe 6 months ago. then 2 months ago i had a little colony, and decide it's time to do something. they were all on the same rock, but i had a soft coral on it too i didn't want to kill, so pulling the whole piece out was not an option. i tried targeting them with mild acids (vinegar, lemon juice), and they disappeared for a while, but they came back. a base solution didn't do anything at all.
so then i tried targeted freezing via a upside-down can of compressed air. seems to have worked like a charm. month into it and still no sign of survivors.
