You do not have to feed them at all, they will usually filter feed enough. They just seem to grow more heads much faster if you feed them about 2 times a week.

agreed, and this is the same for most corals that have tentacles that will accept meaty foods. light will only get them so far nutritianally speaking

I feed them fish pellets (small or medium size) with airline tubing about 3x/week and my colonies grow like crazy.

Also if you have them on a rock/plugs instead of the sand bed they will grow MUCH faster since they dont have to build a huge skeleton.... and I mean grow like 30-50% faster.
