I was looking at my tank today and notice my SRBTA was very deflated. I thought this was very unusual because he has been in the same spot since putting him in the tank and has grown huge. Fully opened he is pushing 18" across. I was not too concerened but wondered what had happened to tick him off. I watched him throughout the day and noticed it looked like he was moving. :? Great, move from the perfect spot you are in and wander around...sigh.
Upon closer inspection I saw his foot in a completely new spot but when I looked where it was attached in the past I saw more of it. HOLY COW he's splitting!
Well, I was very excited and am please to say that the split was successful with one of them right out in front. It will be interesting to see where the other one ends up and I anxiously await seeing where he chooses to call home.
