6500k T5 observation

I recently put new Guisnam bulbs in my Nova Extrem 4 bulb T5 fixture, in a variety of spectrums. The only real difference from my previous set is taht I put in a 6500k inplace of a 10,000k bulb. There is a definite pinkness to the tank, rather than the bluer that it was, which I do not find displeaseing at all.

However, I have noticed that though a lof my corals seem to be reacting better to the new bulbs, my macro algea seems to be suffering. This is pretty counter intuitive to what I thought would happen, as 6500 ought to be right up the macro alley, but apparently not! I do see a little bit of dark green slim on the blades of the various calcerous macro, and that is for sure causing a problem with them. I've also been having to clean teh glass EVERY day, rather than every other or every 4 days.

Now we'll see if any of the Zoas change colors....
