Got my 3D printer set back up to make some anemone guards recently (see below). Figured I can do some work for people in the area if needed.
PM me for 3D printing services. I can print your designs, models found online, or can design something custom to fit your needs.
Replacement parts, frag racks, anemone guards, filter floss trays, etc.
My printer can handle 9x9” max size.
Can get almost any color. The colors I have on hand are:
PETG (aquatic use)
- white
- clear (see pictures)
- purple
PLA (dry, non aquatic use)
- purple
- royal blue
- glow in the dark
- shiny blue
*Disclaimer: I am just a simple reefer who happens to own a 3D printer. Not a materials scientist. I cannot guarantee my PETG prints are reef safe! I use basic PETG filament for aquatic printing, which is anecdotally proven to be reef safe by the community. Raw PETG plastic is reef safe, non toxic, FDA approved. PETG Filament may have additives that are not FDA approved. Do your own research.
With that said, basic petg filament should be just fine. It is what I and many others use in our reef tanks. But if you want more piece of mind, I can get brands of petg filament that are FDA approved. Seems clear and black are the most common colors, and the filament cost is about 2.5x more expensive than basic petg.
