Bought this tank that came with a standard stand. I decided to build my own custom stand. This stand has a glass door which allows you to display your reef equipment on a rack. Behind the display rack allows you to house the sump. The stand also has a drawer to neatly store test equipment, nets or whatever that normally lies in the stand. I have thoroughly thought out this build. All screws and hardware are stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Even the door hinge uses a soft close mechanism to prevent startling your fish. The stand sits in four adjustable feet to level the aquarium.
This build was cut short due to covid and now plans have changed. The stand has had all seems caulked and is ready for prime and paint. The new owner will be allowed to pick either a white or black finish. The paint of choice is Topside. This paint is used for boats and has a glossy finish. Paint is not cheap at $20 per quart.
Asking $1000 for tank and stand. Price is negotiable.
