I have a new toadstool leather I picked up on Sunday. It had the flowery tentacles out for the last couple of days and now is flat and smooth as of last night. It is a little flaky too...just want to be sure it is ok.
All chemicals are good and everything else is healthy.

I have had a Zoanthiad frag for about 2+ months that is not growing very fast. Where should i place it in the tank? It is currently on the sand floor but was curious if it would grow or do better closer to the light source.
FYI - I have a 105 gal tank.

I am new to zoanthiads and picked up one a frag at the meeting from nathan and had a low Ph issue this morning so I added some buffer and the zoanthiad closed up and has not reopened.
did i hurt it?
