Just started in the aquarium hobby. In fact, I ran this tank for about a year without much attention until it recently overheated and killed everything. I made a post in "New to the Hobby."
Here's a thread for the build info, since I'm taking it more seriously now.
Nuvo16 - Black
Upgrade return pump - Cobalt MJ1200
Upgrade Nozzles - Spin Streams
Powerhead - Koralia Nano 400
Lighting - Maxspect Raz0r 130W, 15K
Lighting schedule - 8:00a ramp to 10:00a - 35% White 45% Blue
Maintain until 3:00p
3:00p ramp to 10:00p - Off
Filtration - Stock media baskets
Stock filter, carbon sponge, and phosphate sponge in one media basket
Chemipure Elite and Purigen (The Bag) in the other media basket
It's been over a month since the overheat event. My levels have been at 0 for maybe 3-4 weeks. Added basic cleanup crew an a couple of clowns about 3 weeks ago.
Temp - 80.0°F
pH - 7.8
This is the tank yesterday before I cleaned it really well. I was unclear on whether or not I was supposed to clean under the sand and the corraline algae off of the glass.

Then, I bought me a Red Blastomussa and cleaned the tank and sand after the advice of an expert.
The water is still a bit mirky from the deep cleaning and water change.
