tank params in peoples signatures

What are those of you with your tank params in your signature using to do that? I am going to be putting a computer in my den with my audio system soon and I could run some wires over to the tank to get readings probably.
 
We have a tank controller (AC3 / Lighthouse / AC Jr or II w/ aquanotes) hooked up into our local network, then we set up a port forwarding rule on our router, and set it up per this link.

(Well, Serk set up his own custom scripts, but the first part is the same..)
 
Dang that stuff is expensive, haha... looks like I may have to pass. I work in downtown dallas but live in north carollton and wanted to just be able to keep an eye on that stuff while I'm gone to work and on vacations over email/website. Maybe I should just setup a webcam and figure out how to wire up my own sensors to my computer via serial port. I'm sure there are some sensors like the ones I used in high school physics class on ebay somewhere, haha.
 
The lighthouse is usually $299 new, without probes. Controllers often pop up for sale here on the forums cheap.
