Supplement questions.

I need your expertise on these supplements.
I have these supplements from the previous owner of the tank.
1. Should i pour these things in the tank?
2. Is it safe?
3. What it does for my corals and fish.
4. How often should i dose ?
* I only have soft corals.
5.Should i dose all at the same time?
6.Does ANYONE use any of these for their tank?
7. if you use supplements, will you please tell me which one is best for my corals and fish? and what brand, name, etc..? so i can buy and use for my reef tank.

Here are the list of the supplements:

1-Kent Iodine.
2.Kent TEch-I iodine
3-Kent marine Stronium and Molybdenum
4.Kent Phytoplex
5 Frozen bioplankton
6.Kent liquid calcium
7.carbisea aragamight
8.Kent coral-vite
9.kent essential elements
10. Lugols solutions.

Thank you very much for your help.

1. Should i pour these things in the tank?
it doesn't seem likely that you'll need all those bottles, they almost all serve the same purpose, just others with a broader scope of supplements, if you will.

2. Is it safe?
yes.

3. What it does for my corals and fish.
Some of them promote faster growth and disease prevention (iodine/aragamight), physical deformation prevention of fish (iodine/lugol's), better skeleton growth of hard corals, promotion of calcareous algae, ect.. the list goes on and on..

4. How often should i dose ?
i don't believe that you'll need to dose every single bottle you've got, it looks like to me that the aragamight should be sufficient, since it's almost just like 2-part, just keep it simple.
* I only have soft corals.

5.Should i dose all at the same time?
like i said before, just keep it simple and use the aragamight if you need to. other people in this forum may give you advice otherwise, it's up to you in the end.

6.Does ANYONE use any of these for their tank?
i actually don't use any of those, haha, no money for them! i use a good 2-part and that's really it. some people will say i'm a bad reefer, but i'll let them see my tank and the simplicity of my daily tasks and it'll show them.

7. if you use supplements, will you please tell me which one is best for my corals and fish? and what brand, name, etc..? so i can buy and use for my reef tank.
you should be fine with your aragamight and the other bottles. i know for sure it may be more than i'll ever need.

And to throw my $0.02 into it...

In the mortal words of Bob Fenner... if you don't test for it, don't add it...

Now, of the things you listed, some I consider to be food, not a supplement...

1-Kent Iodine.
2.Kent TEch-I iodine
3-Kent marine Stronium and Molybdenum
4.Kent Phytoplex
5 Frozen bioplankton
6.Kent liquid calcium
7.carbisea aragamight
8.Kent coral-vite
9.kent essential elements
10. Lugols solutions.

4 and 5 are basically food...

1, 2, and 10 are all the same thing in different concentrations (Iodine)
6 and 7 are both basically calcium supplements
9 is a smorgasborg, including some calcium and iodine...

The only ones I personally use are Lugol's solution (But I test for iodine too)

Realistically, unless/until you get into SPS and/or clams, you really don't need to add any supplements, as long as you're doing regular water changes...
