ok so i am looking to get a set of mated seahorses and i was interested if anyone has good refrence on where to get them

http://www.seahorsesource.com/ has a good reputation but we've never ordered from them. We usually try to buy captive bred or at least captive raised ponies locally but that's tough sometimes.

Not sure where you are located but Neptunes has had seahorses the last couple of times I've been in. I have no idea if any were a mated pair. I've also seen them at Fish Gallery.

Frank gets them in on occasion as well, in Fort Worth. They usually sell pretty fast though so you'd probably be better off calling and ordering some.

if you can find ORA seahorses those are the way to go as they eat frozen mysis...drew sirricsalot has a pair that he won at macna...they are sooooooo cute

I've ordered from Seahorse Source a couple of times. If you've got some questions you should give them a call, Abby is always there to help (24/7 it seems) and she is really knowledgable about the foods they need and will take the time to explain their care and needs.

I have never ordered seahorses from them but all the other stuff I have ordered has always done real well and they claim that their seahorses are their most popular item. Name is cramer's critters
