Removing Colt from rock...a very large rack

Ronnie (goinincircles) has a massive (18"x18") Colt coral that he is trying to find a home for. The problem is the rock it is attached to is very large and he wants to keep it. So how can we pry the colt from the rock without damaging the coral?
If it is too big for my tank, and I can't find a home, I might try fragging it quite a bit.

Any help, ideas, suggestions will be much appreciated.
 
Just pull it at the root and nudge it up slow. It will slime a lot and look bad but it should be fine. :D

I like large colts.... :D
