Rbta responding to food.

[Hi all!
I have had my RBTA for about a year and a half now. For the first 6 months the RBTA responded well to food. It would always "stick" the food and eagrly close us with it.

Well for the past 7-8 months it hasn't been "sticking" the food I give it. It just rolls right off it and gets stuck in the live rock.

The RBTA is still nice and red, just not really growing. He comes out during the day, and hides at night.

What could be it's problem with food? Is it just not hungry or what!

BTW it has a maroon clown that is his host.]

This may not be the answer but my green BTA did as you stated for about two months. It did not appear to be sticky and it would not eat the cut up silversides it used to eat. Suddenly one day I noticed I had two anemones. I have no idea if this is a precurser to splitting but now both clones are back to eating again.
