I have a 12" green brittle starfish he was great for cycling the tank. But, he is too big. I was told the will eat anything they can catch which will fit in their mouth. So far, he has eaten just tons of detritus... But, I just put $200 worth of snails and coral in the tank so am taking 0 chances!
