After almost a year out of the hobby due to moving houses I finally have some time to get back in. This is my first small tank so it's a learning experience for me.

After browsing the for sale section for several weeks I finally picked up a JBJ 30 RL from blennylover. This tanks looks great and will function as my frag tank once I set up my big tank after the remodel in finished. For now it will be a display tank.

So far I have the following equipment:

JBJ 30 RL
JBJ Pacifica light
Tunze 9002 skimmer
2 Jäger heaters
Reef Keeper Elite controller (only thing I could us from my last tank since the rest is too big.)

So if you have seen any of these AIO's then you know the back compartments are rather cramped. In order to get the 9002 to fit I had to make a few mods. After moving the magnet, pump cord, and airline to the long side of the skimmer everything fit perfect into the over flow section.

Unfortunately, after about 30 mins of running the light the fan stopped working. Usually I would return it and get a new one, but this thing was so loud that I was going to replace it anyway. So I picked up a new 80 mm fan and put it in. The new fan was a taller than the stock fan so it required some modification to the housing.
