fish is sick

i got a fairy wrasse, and one of his eye balls is swollen. what might be wrong. i just added him to my tank, and he was fine at my friends house that i got him from.

any ideas, or need more info?

That sounds like Pop-Eye, but I don't know the treatment. Try googling it.
 
It does sound like popeye, as long as it is only one eye everything should clear up on its own. Water changes will help.
If it starts to affect both eyes, let me know and we can get some treatment figured out for you.
