So, on a whim I decided I wanted to upgrade my tank. Getting it all ready for when I move out in June, to start the cycle.
Equipment list :
Tank : 125 Gallon 6ft glass tank.
Sump : Melev's Reed - Sump Model F
Circulation Pump : Gyre XF150
Lights : 1 AI SOL super blue

Day 1 :
Went to meet Wes (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3145) and take a look at the tank and stand, decided to pick it up. It was massive, beer bottle for scale.

Day 2 : Power Wash the tank at the local DIY car wash.
(getting cleaner!)

Purchased also 100~ lbs of dead live rock that needs to be cured. Started a bleach bath that will last for 3 days.
Day 3 : White vinegar bath, let set for 3 days.

Day 5 : Took the 100~ lbs of rock out of the bleach and let sit in the sun for 3 days.
Day 7 : Added a back to the tank stand, also purchased a primer and more black paint. Going to repaint everything on the stand and hood

Day 8 : Purchased a Gyre XF150, testing it to make sure it works. Also making sure that it will be suitable for my needs. This is it at 70% and not timed correctly at all. Once I understood the programming had to dial it down to 60% power.

Took the 100~ lbs of rock and set it in a muriatic acid bath. Will last for 3 days.
