Don't worry, the red/brown stuff he just added will prolly out-compete the Cheato pretty quick... That stuff grows crazy-fast...

(At least, it does for me)

Month from now, the brown/red will be the huge one looking down at the teeny tiny Cheato! :)
 
I have had an interesting phenomena occur in fuge I'm not sure I know why... All of my copepods are gone! The fuge is crawling with amphipods, mysis, flatworms, and etc. but no copepods.... There used to 100's of them on the glass and now I can't find a single one. This is just weird??? Here is some proof: (3 Weeks ago)

(I put my mandarin in there last week because he was almost dead and he died a couple of days later, so I know that isn't the problem. Plus the only different additive I've used in the last week is baked baking soda to raise my PH/Alk to normal levels)

I'm baffled on why all my other micro-inverts are fine and the copepods are gone...

Yes, I run my lights 24X7, but I do turn them off now and then to premote spawning of inverts.
