zoas sting sps?

I had a piece of a magenta millepora that I got from a member here saturday. I epoxied it onto a piece of rubble and placed it on the sandbed to acclimate it to the lights. While the frag was on the sandbed my over active cinnamon clown knocked some of my zoas (red skirts) onto the sps frag. By the time I caught it, the mille's tissue was turning into jelly and RTN'd. Is this normal? this happened yesterday around 11pm and the tissue was all gone by this morning 9am. This piece was the best looking piece I've owned, although I am very green to the SPS world.

BTW saturday night and sunday during the day, the frag had good PE, happy looking.

yea Zoas can sting stonies pretty bad, like anenomes. it's normal but not good. place them away from each other.
Most zoas produce deadly toxic if they are consumed too, so be careful there

yea the reason why i put the frag where i put it was because i previously epoxied the zoa frag in its place so there was no apparent danger from the zoa frag in my mind, guess not. after being stung, the mille frag went to nothing overnight, seems kind of quick?
