Zoas... no growth Picture added

I got these two beautiful zoas as a freebie from Ultimate frags wow, quite a while ago, over a year. They appeared quite plain and brown when I first received them. But they developed to what looks identical to Cat Eyes from the Zoa ID website. Bright mint green center (mouth) surrounded by marroon. Tentacles are brown. I received two polyps. And today I still have just that, two polyps. I almost lost them one time when I tried to give them more light and they almost melted... At that time I took them from a shaded area in my 12g Nano Cube with 70W HQI (on the sandbed) and moved them out so they were not shaded. So since then I've kept them away from direct bright lighting. They're in the frag tank now with 108W T5HO, on the outside edge about midway up, but they're turned away from the light. They look great... but no extra polyps.

Any suggestions on what I can do to encourage them to multiply.

Thanks in advance for replies!

Tried that too... they were underneath a frag rack which was partially shaded by another frag rack and were getting far less light. Just a month or so ago when I rearranged the tank and changed the lighting I moved them off the sandbed onto a frag rack where they are now. But I watched them very, very carefully the first few days.

Are you dosing Idoine? I started adding some every week or two for the past 6 weeks and all of my corals have really responded well.

Have you tried target feeding? I target feed my zoas with Zooplex once a week, and coloring and growth has been very impressive. I got a frag of four orange zoas a month or so ago, they have already sprouted two new heads. It's also very fun to watch them pucker their mouths when you feed them.

Handfeeding... no I've never fed any of my zoas that way. But I do supply the "tank" with filter feeding foods and small planktonic type foods. I could try that, though.

Treamaya... I've never dosed my tanks for iodine. After trying a couple of test kits and not being able to get a reading I decided it was too risky. As long as all the shrimp are molting well with no issues I'm counting on there being enough iodine in the salt mix to take care of that need - I do weekly water changes. I have a 500 ml bottle of Salifert Iodine I've never used or may have used once.

Well took the feeding advice and there's already two baby polyps. So all the debate I've read in the past about feeding or not feeding... feeding seems to work. Thanks!

So finally got a picture... you can't see the two baby polyps because they're under these two. Now maybe getting them to grow I might also be able to pull out some of that maroon and pink coloring they had before, too. You can see a tinge of the pink on the edges.
