I got 2 little bitty zoa frags from tranquil.
One was like orange in the center w/green thingies. There was about 7 total.
The other was like copper in the middle w/brown thingies. There were about 15.
I dropped the orange guys in a neato piece of rock where the frag could sit and be somewhat protected, not fall etc.
The other guy looked so good and was large enough to set him alone.
Both were up close to the dual 36" PC.
Before too long the orange guys were multiplying and copper guys were shrinking.
I moved the copper guy away from the light, figuring it was too much.
I was told iodine helped them so I toss a bit in weekly.
The orange guy started multiplying to the host rock - COOL!
The copper guy wasn't doing much of anything, moved it around here there, in the shade, away form currents, in currents, everything I could think of.
Next I see a orange polyp on my X-Mas tree worm rock around the backside where there is no X-Mas tree worm rock coral (sorry about the non techie verbage) - neato!
WRONG!!!!
Q1) Now this stuff is taking over the worm rock, or so it seams and needs to be removed in my book. How do I do that???
The orange stuff is about 5 or six inches around on the host rock now - very nice!
Q2) I don't know how the copper guy has survived or what to do to get it growing.
Suggestions?
TIA again.
