[I have this orange zoanthids that is shrinking in size.

SG = 1.025
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
Ammonia = 0
Metal Halides = 175 watt 10K
About 12 inches away from the metal halide

What can I do to keep it from disappearing. I cannot figure what type of food to feed it. I know it eats organics material that is broken down.

I did a water change for first time in 8 months. I have been adding Iodine every week. Just today, I add Strotnium.

This zooanthid is my first test. I just order $260 dollars worth of zoanthids (blue, red, all sorts of bright bright color) and it is going to be deliver tommorow.

If it keep on shrinking, I probably ask my next door neighbor Andy to baby sit them until I can get some solutions and results.]

[The higher part is shrinking. Maybe it is because I keep on moving it since it keeps on falling down because of the Turbo snail.]

[Zoos have to be left alone. Wedge a rock under it so that it can't fall any more. Once you quit handling them, they'll do much better.

I would stop dosing anything additionally that you can't test for. And water changes, while a hassle, are a reef tank's friend.]

[Keep a close eye on them and if they a dieing off cut your loses and save the good one's. Use a razor to cut off all of the rotting one's this has worked for me. And like Marc said leave them alone..... :very sad:]

[I can't helping moving the zoanthids because I am trying to figure ways to add 7 more colonies of zoanthids. I am running out of space. Tommorow will be the last time I will touch it (not going to happen). I will try to leave it alone.]

[All my zoos are at the bottom of the tank at about 29" or so from the MH. The 3 head frag you gave me from that rock is already at 6 heads and is very pretty!If you need a place to store some bring em all over :)]

[Also, check and doublecheck your salinity. I had some zoos close up and shrivel away when my refractometer reported 1.028sg, so you might need to see where yours is.]
