I know that most might say i am crazy but here is my story. Had a 70 reef set up for about a year. All corals did very well. My tank leaked but i had a 58g that was going to be a fuge and a 50g reef sump. Plumbed them up and ran that way for a while. All corals good to go. In this setup my 6-line wrasse was in the 58g and was also in the 70g. As soon As i got the 265g set up i ditched the 6-line as he was satan incarnate. Killed my last mandrin which ate frozen foods real bummer. I really wanted a pair of mandrins in my 265. So after all was moved and 6-line was gone my zoa's looked good. Over a 1 month period i noticed that few looked bad then all looked bad. No signs of pox or nudibranch. All other corals were doing ok. Over the last 2 weeks my other corals have settled in and had an ich outbreak but that after some very sad losses is in check. No signs of ich for about 2 weeks now. But my zoa's were doing a nose dive. I was at the end of my rope. Then after calling Bill at neptunes he said well sounds like you have some nudibranches or other parasite but could be the very rarely seen killer pods. So i figured i would dip and get a yellow cromis wrasse. Went home as i was at work during this phone call. Looked on some sites about zoa eating pods found just a few others that said they had seen this. Low and behold when i get home there they are pods going nuts on my zoa's but not anywhere else in sight. My new solution is to buy a pair of mandrins as my pod pop in my fuge is busting at the seams hopefully all will go well.
