zebra hermit killing my snails

so i looked in the tank the other day, and one of my hermits was on one of my snails. i figure he was just lookin for a new shell and thought it looked interesting. well i come back 20 minutes later and it looked like he was tearing the snail out of the shell :evil: . im guessin this is something that just happens or he was really hungry. anyone else ever have this happen?

I have one. He never went after a snail until he outgrew his shell. We got him some nice new big ones from the LFS. He moved in to one (changing like every day) and has never bothered a snail since.

I had some zebra hermits and think that they seem a little more agressive than other hermits I have had in the past.
