Xenia is weird

I have had pulsing xenia in my tank now for a little over a year. It was growing liek crazy and taking over my tank. Then it totally melted on me for no reason. Then it started coming back and got prety thick again. And the other day I treated for flatworms and it melted again! There are still little stubs where it once was so I am asuming its going to grow back.

I had xenia on an isolated rock, well at least I thought it was. The xenia walked over to a nearby rock over time, then kept moving up and up in my aquarium. It was getting close to SPS colonies, so I cut it out, scrubbed the area with a toothbrush. 2-3 months later, I have pulsing xenia stocks again. I don't know how they make it getting whipped around with all that current for the SPS, but they do. I admire them though, they are quite a survivor, so I'll just let them be now :)
