I just got my first whiff of skimmer. It has filled up a little less than halfway and today I took time to do a little tank maintenance. I took off the collection cup section and the smell of rotten eggs just hit me and I loss my appetite for lunch. My wife quickly got a smell and told me to take it outside but she didn't gripe about it which is good :lol:

I clean mine in the kitchen which the wife is always complaining about. I try to do it when she is not home!

Is it just me, or did the constancy of the "skimmer juice" didn't look real. Also, his reaction was kind of delayed.

I don't know... it just appeared that way. I can see why people don't think it's real.

But nevertheless it’s still gross just thinking about it.
