worms on glass?

Hi all,
I am new to your forums. I have 100 gallon reef, all soft corals. about 100lbs of LR. 1 small yellow tang, mated pair of clarki clowns and a goby I think.
Water peramiters: amon. 0 , nitrates 10, nitrites 0 , ph 8.1, calcium 520, kh 11, temp 78-79, salinity 1.025, dont really know mag, or any others peramiters.. I do use ro water.

ok my water got really cloudy after I added 2 more power heads. I thought it was just tiny particles floating from sand. was turning tank over 17-18 times. protein skimer is pulling a little light to dark brown stuff. ps 75 is the brand name. cheap I know but works ok. saving $ to get a reef octipus. I cant figure out why aquarium is cloudy, like milky. it has tiny stuff floating in the water column. and now I am seein tiny spiral things on the back glass. they all look like tiny little 6's. I added carbon today hoping to clear the water.
Anyone have any suggestions on clearing tank? what is growing on my gass? let it go or scrape of? harmful or benificial?

oh, duh, I moved fromm 55 to 100 about 2 months ago. 55 was going for 6 months. I added more live rock when set this one up.
any advice would be helpful.
thanks

Is it cloudy like it was when you first added the sand? It could be stirring up the sand but it should clear up. Do you vacuum your sand when you do water changes?
The worms on the glass are like little feather dusters. They are filter feeders. You can scrape them off if you want, there are plenty on the rocks.
Can you post some pictures?

ok update, after adding carbon and shutting off extra ph's, tank has cleared alot. Although, there is still millions of tiny particles in water column.I will try to get a pic of spiral looking 6's tonight. They are tiny so might be tough to do, but will give it a try.

As I said, I am a super noob to marine tanks, Fw tones of experience, but this is my first marine tank. thanks for input.

way too cool!!! I seen the bugs on the glass this morning. and today when I got home some of my fish where at the glass eating them. I guess I have a very healthy tank. A pod explosion I guess is what made it cloudy.
