world record bristleworm

I think I am raising a world record bristleworm in my reef tank. I am not sure how big they get, but this one is about 14 or 15 inches long. If I had to guess I would say maybe close to 3 inches or so in diameter. I have never seen anything like it before. It rarely can been seen, but every once in a while you can look behind my rock wall and see it. I am really scared for the smaller critters in my tank.

Naw don't be... I had one that was about that long in Ohio and it didn't do a thing other than eat crud. Just keep an eye on it cause if it does die at some point that won't be pleasant in the tank.

HOLY CRAP !!!!!

Well the bristle worm I have is much thicker than that one. I hope he does not start eating corals. That would not be a pretty site.

to the best of my knowledge "bristleworms" dont eat corals I have them and havent had a problem yet. But fireworms are a different story. But they are very rare in aquariums from what i understand. My worms that i see are no more than 6 or so inches.
