[Well,
I just almost destroyed the sump Marc built for me.

I was doing a water change and (I still don't know how I did this) forgot to unplug the heater.

It's a titanium variety. The heat it was putting out did do a bit of damage. On both sides of the acrylic where it is suction cupped I can feal a very small imperfection in the sump wall where it started to bulge.

I *think* I got to it in time and everything will be ok.. But what a way to start the year. Sigh.

[Wow, that is a heck of a heater! I made an acrylic holder for mine to sit on when I had the 55g setup, so that the heater would cook that before it would affect the sump's floor. Guess that was a good idea after all!]
