Wilsoni/symphyllia skeleton showing

I just bought(3 weeks ago) a wilsoni brain I've notice that during the daytime(when the lights are on) a small amount of the spiky skeleton shows through it usually has a tiny tiny amount of of brown on the tips. In the mornings I dont notice the skeleton so Im thinking its a high lighting or high temp issue. Par in that spot is around 70 and temp stays around 81 80. I have heard these brains like cooler temp so im trying that. The spikes only show at the top of the coral reaffirming my lighting theory. Should I be concerned or will the coral adjust overtime?

I know this is a tad late - hope your wilsoni is still doing ok.
These like very little light and rather low flow. They can be difficult but given the right placement will be vibrant and full in a few months time. I keep my tanks around 77/78 degrees and I do spot feed my wilsonis weekly or so.
