I went and even though its was CROWDED to beat all... it was AWESOME! The only thing I did not enjoy was the Beluga whale exhibit.... they were in too small of a tank and were "pacing" the same routs over and over as if dieing from boredom.
Anyhow... There was lots of cool stuff to see and the largest Reef tank I have EVER seen.. WOA! I wasn't sure if there was natural sunlight coming in or not.. Definitely lots of HIGH POWERED MH lights.. Looked to be around 20k. the glass goes up and curves over your head and you look up through the artificial waves. There we bubble corals and plate coral 15 feet deep so they have PLENTY of light!
The main tank is HUGE... the acrylic you look through is around 30 feet high, 60 feet wide and 2 feet thick! They have 3 whale sharks. It was my first time to see one IRL and not just on the TV.
Lots of other cool stuff to see... I highly recommend it if you are in Atlanta!
