I have a white acro that is turning brown. He had been placed in the sand since he has a nice size LR he is attached to. When I noticed he was turning brown I moved him up. Anything else I should do or be concerned about?
can you still see polyps? if you cant see polyps it is probably not going to make it no matter what you do to it. if you can still see polyps, then just a little TLC can normally bring them back from discolorations like this.
If it was white and turning brown but polyp extension hasn't changed then it was most likely bleached when you got it since it's very rare to find a white acro that keeps it's originial color. If it's turning brown it's most likely improving and will develop another color (or stay brown), normally seeing white is bad because that would mean the skeleton is starting to show, brown is sort of normal for a lot of acros.
