Which Yellow Fish for the Wife?

My wife wants a yellow fish for the tank. What would be a good yellow fish to add?

The conditions are as follows:
210 tank
Assorted Leather corals
Assorted Mushrooms
Chrysurus Angel
Multicolor Dwarf Angel
Golden Dwarf Angel
Purple Tang
Blonde Naso Tang
Arrowhead Pygmy Wrasse
2 Threadfin Cardinals
2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
2 Blood Shrimp
1 Bullseye Pistol Shrimp
 
My fiance wanted a yellow tang. I was reluctant to get one at first but I have to admit that it adds a lot of color to my tank. Being the size of a softball gets ooohs' and ahhh's from guests.

Don't know about adding one with your purple tang though.
 
i vote for yellow tank. Yellow tank is very active and coming out to play. Your wife will love to see it swimming around in front of the glass. I have 3 yellow tangs in my tank.
 
I agree. Yellow tangs are kinda like a staple (must have) for the big tanks. They are also cheaper and very easy to find in various sizes. Don't know how agressive your other fish are (esp the purple tang), so you might want to get a yellow tang that's a little bigger than the purple. the bigger size may keep the agression at a check.
 
Well if you want yellow AND big, I'd have to vote tang. They are pretty cool. They just have a cool face. What is it with that nose, anyway?
 
I agree with the Yellow Tang, although they're rather cliche (But yeah, I've got one too), however the Purple Tang and the Yellow Tang would most likely fight...

...yeah, some people have pulled it off having both in one tank, but it is risky...

...And not my smart aleck comment is - Who's offered to trade you a yellow fish for your wife? :lol:
 
I could not trade her for just a Yellow Tang. It would have to be for a Gem Tang or a mated pair of Conspic Angels. :)
 
I am not a fan of the Copperband butterfly. It seems to have a poor rate of survival, depending on what site you visit.
 
I'd go with a foxface. They aren't too territorial and are very good looking. The yellow body is just about as bright as a yellow tang.

I've got both, and the tang seems to be smarter, but the foxface is my favorite of the two. When I got him, my tangs wanted to beat him up bad, but he'd just stick out those poison fins and they'd leave him alone. Now, everyone is friends. :)
