Which type of tank do you own?

[NonRR for me, although I really wish I would have held out for a RR tank. Oh well...I can always get a RR when I go bigger!]

[DAS RR tanks are quite nice.

The ones with the built in filter are kinda a pain. Can't go over the top with an overflow box cause of the way the tanks built, and theres WAY to little flow in the tanks without adding a lot of power heads. Not to mention the silly sponge spools it uses as a filter.

I'd guess a lot of people are sold a DAS tank as an "everything you need" package. Then when they fail a year later, they sell the tank back.]

[I have three DAS tanks, but all are Reef Ready. I am guessing you are asking how many have the DAS H99. That is their in tank filter with the needle wheel skimmer.]

[I have two DAS RR tanks. I like their cabinet work, and euro. bracing on top. Third tank is the Hex acrylic (RR also after Marc and I modified it).]

[Im running a standard tank...Oceanic 150. Have duel siphon boxes on it...

I know everyone prefers RR tanks...and I will "probably" on my next one...but ya know?...I have never, never had a problem with mine. Always starts back up after power off, etc. Plus, it does allow for a lot more room in the tank. Only thing i have to do is clean the U tubes about once every 3 weeks and make sure it doesnt lose siphon due to bubbles, but heck, that in itself takes around 3 weeks...]

[It is made by Dutch Aquarium Systems. They make them with an internal filtration along the back of the tank.]

[Are the holes for drainage to the sump? You can affix an elbow and a rise tube to keep the water level where you want it.]
