I am wanting a sand sifting goby, but I am having a hard time deciding on which one. The dinoflagellate problem I had caused the loss of my Gold Head Sleeper Goby. Having had one before, I can tell you that I don't want another.
I am looking for one that will be happy without a shrimp companion...
One that will sift sand. Hopefully sift the sand and stay close to the bottom instead of swimming all the way to top and then dumping the mouthful of sand... ( note about the above mentioned one  )
And if possible, one that doesn't NEED to dig a burrow. All of the rock is on the tank bottom with the sand around it. Or, an idea on an artificial burrow...
Any suggestions?
