where to put phosban reactor

I have a question about where to put my new phosban reactor. The only logical place would be in the center section of my sump where the mag 12 return pump is located. The only other choices is the fuge or the left side which there's not much room in. Would the center section be okay?

return section of sump would be ideal but sounds like you are strapped for room. Putting it in center would be fine just try not to put it in the fuge section..

I don't think it makes too much difference.

Just put it where it fits. I'm not able to hang mine on to my sump because the lip of the sump is too wide so I just have mine sitting in the return section.

Mine hangs on the side of my sump/fuge - but takes water from and flows back into the return section - I wanted it to take water AFTER it had gone to the fuge to get any junk not "eaten" by the macro in the fuge.

So it goes: overflow to skimmer to fuge to reactor to return...

That sounds like a good idea, Misty. But aren't you concerned about flooding if somehow the water gets out of the reactor?

It's meant to hang on the sump/fuge or sit next to it - it's a "Two Little Fishies" Phosban reactor - so it doesn't pose much of a risk. It would have to be a really freaky thing for that to happen.

I have two reactors on my sump. Both are mounted on the side of my sump. One, running Rowaphos, takes raw water from the sump intro section and drains it into the return pump section. The second reactor, running carbon, takes water from the return pump section and drains it into the refugium section.
