where to get Cyclopeez??

do you guys know where I can get some cyclopeez?
I heard that there are dried cyclopeez? anybody heard of it?

I went to many lfs around us, none of them has it. I was thinking about starting a gb for it. does anybody know an online supplier?

Looks like they're currently out, but I believe this is what you're looking for:

I bought the big can about a year ago. I keep it in my freezer, and just refill a small jar every month or so that I feed from. A little of it goes a LONG way...

I also use the frozen. I prefer feeding the frozen, but sometimes it's just easier to have this right next to the tank and use some of it instead of going all 15 feet to the freezer (Yes, I'm lazy, I know it! )

Looks like Premium Aquatics might have it in stock, but only the smaller can:

I looked for the dry kind a while back but never found it. I believe DNA carries it sometimes, but call before you go because they only had the frozen kind when we went there. We ended up with the frozen and I don't have any complaints with it.

Online options -

If you can get enough people together to get 8 of the big blocks:

As far as just buying a single block, just about anywhere online that sales frozen aquarium food will sell it. But, you're gonna take a hit on the shipping!

Give Fish Gallery a call, I bought mine from there and they usually have a few cans in stock. They also open on Sundays at noon.

Cheers!

IMHO the frozen don't float, at least not NEARLY as readily as the freeze-dried...

The freeze-dried I have best luck if I soak it for several minutes before feeding it, but some of it still floats up to the surface...

Is the freeze-dried the same as the wafer form? I have the wafer, but would prefer the loose cyclop-eeze.

Kevin - The freeze dried is just freeze dried individual cyclop-eeze, the wafer is them all smashed up and dried into wafer form... I prefer the non-wafer form myself...

Michelle - Debatable... IMHO they're too big for MOST SPS to eat, but that's just my opinion... My anemones, Zoanthids and LPS love 'em though, and I won't claim to be an expert on the food particle size that SPS will eat, just my opinion that they're most likely too big for that purpose...

I read somewhere on the post that they dirty the water too fast for an sps tank?

are they higher in nutrition than baby brine?
are these fed to gorgonias as well?
