Where to find a temperature controller?

Are there any temperature controllers out there that will turn a device off once a temperature reaches a certain temperature? i.e. if my fans cause the temp to drop under 79, I want them to turn off.

I am currently having all kinds of fun keeping my temp stable now that my chiller crapped out on me :(

Yes..I got the ranco..love it. It will control heat and even turn on a fan/chiller...I got mine from here http://diyreef.com/shop/ wired and ready to go.

The Fish Gallery has a temp controller on their used equipment table. I saw it today but didn't get the price. Might be worth a call though.

That controller Fish Gallery is a for AC and such, looks like it would energize power relay which would then power whatever. You could probably convert but it would take some "tinkering".

What about the small temperature controller by Hydor? It runs about $50, and you plug into it what you want to turn on / off. It is made for heaters (up to 500w), but a fan would work as well, I think.

You can get ranco for about $60 if you know where to get them. You have to just look around on the reptile sites. They also sell really cheap on ebay but that is without the temp probe
